ABHI LEADERSHIP STRENGTHENED, WITH ENHANCED FOCUS ON DIGITAL
Over the Summer, ABHI will be relocating our offices. The move has allowed us to free up significant resources which we are reinvesting to boost our capacity to meet member needs. From a strategic perspective, it is also important that we respond to the external factors that are driving change in HealthTech.
I am pleased, therefore, today, to welcome Luella Trickett to ABHI’s leadership team. In her new role as Director, Value & Access, Luella will lead on embedding value based practices across patient pathways. Her work will subsume our existing efforts on market access and procurement. Bringing with her 25 years of industry experience, Luella’s work will be vital in our ongoing engagements with the NHS and wider stakeholders.
Andrew Davies, currently Director, Market Access, will now have “digital” as his core focus. The field of digital health is only set to grow, and how the NHS integrates such innovations is one of its biggest challenges over the next decade. Our long-standing expertise in regulation will play a strong role in supporting the NHS to safely adopt new and emerging technologies. Work in this area will support our growing digital health membership base, as well as our long-standing partners who are now entering the digital space.
Chief Operating Officer, Nishan Sunthares, will now have a stronger focus on small business growth and access to funding, as well developing deeper connections within the research community. Nishan will also drive forward a compelling strategy on diagnostics.
These changes are a significant step for ABHI. The increased capabilities within the team and refreshed focus will deliver added value to members, whilst ensuring our overall offer is fit for purpose in a rapidly changing HealthTech environment.
Thank you for your continued support.
Chief Executive, ABHI
