Liz has over 30 years procurement experience across both Private (Pharmaceutical and fmcg) and Public Sectors. Currently Deputy Director for Public Health England, Liz leads on Contract Management and strategic projects such as EU Exit and Social Value. Previous to this, Liz worked within DHSC revising the NHS Standards of Procurement and implementing the Skills Development Network on a national scale. Liz was also the Head of Procurement and Commercial at Salisbury NHS Trust for 10 years, working on a number of national workstreams.
Liz, a chartered Fellow of CIPS also holds an MBA and BA (Hons). Liz is passionate about providing opportunities to help staff achieve their full potential, (a key driver for being a Member of a Schools Multi Academy Trust) and also ensuring that every public £ is spent to protect health and well-being.
