The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSE/I) and Public Health England (PHE) have agreed that NHS Supply Chain will manage the demand for certain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other products to support the NHS response to COVID-19.

This is to maintain continuity of supply across the network, as we have seen an increased demand over the last few weeks.

As of today, we have lifted demand management and although we’re seeing orders at unprecedented levels we are are keen to work hand in hand with trusts to ensure we supply what’s needed to keep staff and patients safe.
