We wanted to share with you the hard work University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) has undertaken with some of Midland based manufacturers they worked with during the First Phase of Covid to produce gowns. Given the excellent quality of the gowns that were produced and the lack of support Make UK and the DHSC have given any of the regional suppliers to continue the supply of gowns, UHB decided to look at other products they could provide.
One of these products, that isn’t supplied by the PPE Cell or available via NHSSC is Cultural Sensitive PPE Headwear of which we have just started to roll-out across UHB and will be introducing to BWC & ROH shortly.
