In our first Delta eSourcing newsletter of 2020 we would like to wish you all a Happy New Year. This month we’ll discuss all that’s happening at Delta eSourcing and within public procurement including the OJEU Thresholds, Category Management and Brexit. Be sure to register for our upcoming webinars and events. Don’t miss out!

In December 167 Tenders, 27 Framework Agreements, 7 Dynamic Purchasing Systems and 151 Award Notices were published on Delta eSourcing.

OJEU Procurement Thresholds UPDATED

Changes have been made to the thresholds above which contract opportunities must be advertised in the OJEU for procurements governed by the Public Contracts Regulations, the Defence & Security Public Contracts Regulations, the Utilities Contracts Regulations and the Concession Contracts Regulations.

It’s mandatory for public sector contracting authorities to adhere to these regulations. However, tenderers should also be aware of the advertising thresholds. Find out more and access all changes by downloading your free copy of the 2020-2021 thresholds.

Category Management is founded on ten guiding principles, which are imperative for its success and are the factors which should continually drive the category management process across all levels of an organisation.

Brexit: Challenges and Opportunities for Public Sector Buyers

At Delta we’re Brexit ready and currently ‘parallel publish’ tenders to both OEJU and the new Find a Tender government service, making sure we are fully compliant both pre and post Brexit. Why not register for our upcoming webinar on Friday 7th February at 11:00am where we’ll discuss the real impact of Brexit on public sector procurement.

The results from our latest research survey carried out by iGov Survey on behalf of BiP Solutions and Delta eSourcing, ‘Brexit: Challenges and Opportunities for Public Sector Buyers’ has allowed us to develop a real picture of the level of knowledge and aspirations of the sector, in addition to what is already known about the legal position of procurement in relation to Brexit. Download a copy of our survey report to find out more.
