Wider Public Sector Customer Digital event

Thursday 25th August 14:00-16:00

The CCS Legal Services team is hosting two Wider Public Sector Customer Digital events in August. Organised with our Wider Public Sector customers in mind, these events aim to provide an overview and understanding of our largest CCS Legal Services Framework Agreement, designed specifically for the Wider Public Sector.

Recent feedback has demonstrated how beneficial this Agreement has been to WPS customers needing immediate access to legal services and advice for a range of Covid-19 issues, including employment and property related matters and Covid-19 related claims. With the ability to utilise Direct Awards, a newly implemented Digital Selection Tool and standardised Terms and Conditions, this Agreement has provided customers with quick access to a large pool of reputable suppliers who specialise in a wide range of legal specialisms.

With regeneration at the forefront of our minds, it’s also worth noting that our Regional Service Provision is able to put customers in direct contact with local firms who are able to offer advice on specialisms such as social housing, litigation and dispute resolution and debt recovery.

These events seek to support a greater understanding of the WPS LS Agreement (RM3788), with agenda items covering its scope, features and how to access the Panel with ease.

We are also delighted to be joined by two Guest Speakers for the events – Madeleine Davitt (Senior Partner at Davitt Jones Bould) and John McKie (Partner at Keoghs LLP). Known as “a true commercial property specialist with unrivalled property knowledge”, Madeleine will discuss the type of Property Law advice available to customers via this Agreement and how customers may use this to service their current requirements. With a responsibility for managing client service, John will look to share with us some invaluable client experiences that have been achieved via the Agreement, as well as offering technical insight into the emerging trend of Covid-19 related claims.

The events will be held on the following date:

  • Thursday 25th August 14:00-16:00

These will be held live via WebEx, with links distributed before the event. To register interest or to learn more about our agenda items follow the links to our Eventbrite page, which can be found here: Eventbrite Invitation
