Liam Horkan is Head of Clinical Procurement at East Suffolk & North Essex NHS Foundation Trust, he is a registered nurse and is passionate about the impact that procurement activity has on the quality of products and equipment available to the NHS.

Liam has been involved in supporting and developing some of the big clinical procurement initiatives in the NHS including the Royal College of Nursing ‘small changes, Big Differences campaign and was one of the founding clinicians in the DHSC national clinical evaluation team which led the development of increased clinical input to the new NHS Supply Chain Model.

Join him in this session where he will reflect on how collaboration, support and the impact of procurement teams locally, regionally and nationally have made a huge difference in ensuring teams have continued to be able to deliver care during a really challenging time for procurement and supply chain.
