The HCSA has today thanked Clive Mosby for his career long membership of the Association and for 43 year service to the NHS. Clive who retires on Wednesday 3rd June from his post as Head of Procurement at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS FT has been a stalwart of the HCSA and a regular attender at Association events.
Simon Walsh – Deputy Chief Officer said ‘having known Clive for 33 years he has always worked in the background to ensure that the NHS receives an effective procurement service, Clive has a highly experienced understanding of the key commercial issues we face and has worked innovatively to put solutions in place.’
A former Treasurer of the North West Branch Clive’s membership of the HCSA and its predecessors has been a constant and his love of fine wines a source of comfort to all those who shared a Gala Dinner table with him!
HCSA President Lord Hunt has thanked Clive for his work and remarkable record of service along with acknowledging that his retirement date is the day originally planned for our Diamond Jubilee Reception.
Clive has a range of interests outside of work with family in Canada and he is a regular European traveller
