About the HCSA

The Health Care Supply Association (‘HCSA’) was established in 1960 with the aim of promoting the work of procurement and supply chain staff at all levels in healthcare.

The HCSA’s leading objectives are to provide a professional network that encourages shared learning, and to improve professional standards. The HCSA also aims to advance healthcare management and procurement, and other subjects as applied to all or any of the duties imposed upon functions undertaken by health services.

The Health Care Supply Association is affiliated with the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (‘CIPS’). As a registered charity in the UK, the HCSA is entirely self-financed.
