Healthlogistics acquired by leading GPO
We have great pleasure in announcing some very exciting news regarding the ownership and future of the Healthlogistics company and our hTrak solution. A German company, Prospitalia GmbH has acquired all shares in Healthlogistics.co.uk and its subsidiaries.
Prospitalia is the largest Group Purchasing Organisation (GPO) company in Germany, managing contracts and agreements with healthcare suppliers over the last 25 years for their customer base of hospitals and clinics. Prospitalia are investing in the expansion of the hTrak product in the UK and sees hTrak as being applicable to their customers in Germany and beyond.
Prospitalia’s CEO Bradley P. Gould and CFO Markus Wild are adding another company to the Prospitalia Group.
We have only just commenced our journey with Prospitalia and believe that this acquisition will ensure that the hTrak solution continues to grow and be successful in the UK, offering procedure-level information and materials management to the NHS as a valued-added service or as part of a Trust’s wider Scan4Safety implementation.
We will continue to support our customers with solutions that provide business and clinical benefits. We also anticipate providing further value-added solutions in the future.
Having previously held the role as Managing Director of hTrak Pty Ltd in Australia and Director of Healthlogistics, I have now been appointed Managing Director for the UK and Australia Prospitalia hTrak business.
Along with my team, we will provide regular updates on our progress as we develop our combined strategy with Prospitalia over the forthcoming months.
