Job Title: Operational Buyer

Salary: £18,813 – £20,795 pa

Description: We are looking for a team player to join our customer facing operational buying team within Commercial Services, based at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. Working with the Lead Operational Buyer(s) the post-holder will ensure that all aspects of operational buying and catalogue management are undertaken to provide an effective and efficient service for stakeholders across the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working in a purchasing, supply chain or inventory management environment or be able to demonstrate transferable skills essential to the role. An understanding of e-procurement systems would be an advantage along with good level of keyboard skills and abilities with applications including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook. Excellent communication skills are essential. Previous experience of NHS working may be advantageous.
