Job Title: Project Manager – Source to Purchase Order System

Salary: £45,753 – £51,668 PA

Description: Project Manager – Source to Purchase Order System replacement– NHS, Bristol, £45,753 – £51,668pa + excellent NHS benefits – Initially 18 months FIXED TERM  Bristol & Weston Purchasing Consortium (BWPC) have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our busy, award-winning team supporting the replacement of our Source to Purchase Order System. Based in Southmead Hospital we require an experienced Project Manager to join our Procurement Transformation and Systems Team.

BWPC are embarking on a Transformation Programme for which an integral part includes re-procuring our entire suite of systems that provide the Source to purchase order function with an ambition to deliver full end to end system solution. This project management role is pivotal to successful leadership, implementation and deployment of the new system.

BWPC are proud to feature amongst our clients two of the largest NHS Acute Trusts in the UK. We support regional procurement activity, working to ensure our local health and welfare providers are able to deliver whole system cost reduction, whilst ensuring an optimised service delivery.

THE ROLE: As a Project Manager with the Procurement Transformation & Systems team, your primary activities will focus on the following:-


By responsible for the delivery of the programme of work relating to the reprocurement and subsequent implementation of Source to Purchase order System.

Supplier relationship management of existing and subsequent systems contracts.

Stakeholder relationship management


YOU: The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:


Experience of delivering successful project implementation using Project/programme management skills sets.

Demonstrable evidence of delivering Procurement and supply chain-related projects on time and within budget, within a complex environment  Experience of managing complex change  Experience in implementing Procurement and supply chain systems, within a healthcare setting would be desirable
