Department of Health has arranged two training sessions to make NHS procurers aware of departmental activity in a number of key areas.

The training sessions will help you to ensure you are aware of the work that has already been undertaken along with future plans and to use the information both effectively and in compliance with Department of Health policy.

Update to the NHS Terms and Conditions – Presenters: Sean Earnshaw and colleague (Mills and Reeve)
The NHS Terms and Conditions were updated and will be published on GOV.UK in January this year. This session will summarise the changes made to the full suite of NHS Terms and Conditions so that they are in compliance with policy and legislation.

There will be a separate training session covering IT Terms and Conditions.

To get the most out of the session, you will need to be familiar with the Terms & Conditions which can be found at

Please print a copy and bring it with you.

Contract Management – Presenters: Linda Peacock and Elle Mothersole
The session will provide an introduction to the DH Contract Management framework, and will include an overview of leading practice CM tools and processes you can use to manage your own contract portfolio.

FOM – Presenters: TBC
The Future Operating Model of NHS Supply Chain (FOM) is launching in April 2018. We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the future of NHS Procurement. This session will give you a chance to hear about our plans and ask questions.

ProCure22 – Presenters: TBC
A high level overview of the Department of Health’s ProCure22 framework, in place to assist Trust’s with design and thereafter construction of capital projects. The presentation will include details and benefits of the framework, how and when the NHS can engage and call off, plus advice around best practice and how to get the most out of the framework

There will be plenty of opportunity for Q&A under each session

The training sessions will be opened by Rachel Berrisford and Amjad Kazmi (members of the Procurement Policy team at the Department of Health).
