The Collaborative Procurement Partnership LLP is a new and exciting business formed to work for the NHS and be responsible for the delivery of the Department of Health Future Operating Model for the procurement of medical surgical equipment and clinical consumables across three medical and surgical Towers.

As a centre of commercial excellence, our business will deliver significant and sustainable savings which can be invested in front line services by the NHS economy. The business will manage three Towers consisting of category management for:

Clinical Engagement and Implementation Manager Vacancies

We are seeking a range of talented and experienced team members across the UK to fill a number of Clinical Engagement & Implementation Manager roles “CEIM”. We are looking for experienced clinical candidates or those with significant clinical knowledge, excellent stakeholder management skills are important. You will want to work in flexible roles, that are home based but will involve regular travel to our clients.

The role of the CEIM is to build and manage the relationships with clinicians within NHS organisations. You will provide project leadership and support, ensuring the delivery of quality services that represent best value. You will be key in ensuring the clinicians ‘voice’ is heard when specifications are made for products and services ensuring they meet relevant national best practice and guidance. You will then work with clinicians to make sure best value products and services are being used in day-to-day services and will get involved in the following activities:
•Building and managing the relationships with clinicians within NHS organisations ensuring uptake of best value products and services
•Leading on product evaluations, inputting into product specifications as necessary.
•Manage the product assurance evaluation of products in line with the agreed methodology and CaPA requirements
•Liaising with CAPA and ensuring product recommendations and guidance are compliant and support best practice
•Leading on the management of projects within Tower categories (these projects may vary in number and complexity dependent upon the seniority of the post holder)
•Keeping abreast of guidance and legislation to horizon scan and ensure CPP is staying ahead of campaigns and initiatives
•Participating in, and developing your own, clinical forums and networks to ensure CPP is appropriately represented and engaged in discussions about best practice and up to date thinking on products and services
•Delivering on identified savings targets
•Producing and updating project documentation including status reports, ensuring key documentation is up-to-date
•Forging close working relationships with stakeholders across the organisation that will benefit the ultimate success of the project.

Experience required
•Clinical experience is required from either/and an industry, research or clinical background
•Professional clinical registration (Desirable)
•Experienced in building and maintaining relationships
•Able to quickly gain credibility with clinicians due to your experience and/or professional qualifications
•Experience of managing projects, exposure to the end to end project life cycle, or managing substantial parts of the project life cycle
•Knowledge of project management tools and techniques
•Professional qualification or significant experience in a relevant field (such as nursing, pharmaceuticals, therapies etc)
•Understanding of procurement and the associated processes required
•Awareness of the current political landscape and national procurement strategy.

Salaries will be set within a range, according to geographical location of the role and a range of factors such as, level of professional experience in a relevant field, clinical qualifications and the range of stakeholders and savings being managed. Senior Category Manager Vacancies

We are seeking a range of talented and experienced team members to fill a number of Senior Category Manager roles across the UK. Salaries will be set within ranges and will be set according to experience and qualifications and the geographical location of the role. An attractive employee benefits package will accompany the roles.

The Senior Category Managers will be at the centre of a network of key stakeholders, end users, suppliers and management functions and be responsible for ensuring a strategic sourcing programme for defined categories and will get involved in the following activities:
•Managing a defined NHS market category and the associated product categories across a number of NHS trusts
•Actively leading and managing multiple programmes from tendering to contract award and ongoing relationship management
•Performance managing against programme targets and ensure best value for money
•Supporting the National Category Manager in the delivery of category plans (timescale, business revenue, margin, supplier management etc.)
•Other duties within the general scope of the post and appropriate to the role may be required occasionally.

Experience required
•Experience of managing people (essential)
•A minimum 3 years in commercial procurement environment
•A willingness to travel as required Education/qualifications
•MCIPS achieved, or study in progress for relevant qualification, or breadth and depth of work experience equivalent to qualification

Salary – £43K to £55k depending on experience and location.

Category Manager Vacancies

We are seeking a range of talented and experienced team members to fill a range of Category Manager roles from entry level singular category management to the more complex. Salaries will be set within ranges and according to experience and qualifications and the geographical location of the role. An attractive employee benefits package will accompany the roles.

CPP LLP Category Managers are responsible for the delivery of strategic procurement initiatives on a specific/allocated portfolio of sourcing categories in compliance with EU legislation, UK law and trust standing financial instructions. You will be responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of procurement services, within a specific category, whilst maximizing value for money opportunities through process improvement and total cost of ownership modelling.

Experience required
•Record of achievement in securing substantial value for money from procurement
•A thorough understanding of the Public contract Regulations 2015 able to advise and provide guidance of these within the NHS setting
•Willingness to travel as requiredEducation/qualifications
•Advanced Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or similar appropriate professional institute or relevant experience
•Educated to Degree level
•Evidence of Continued Professional Development

Salary – £29.5K to 43K depending on experience and location

Head of Communications and Customer Services

The Head of Communications and Customer Services will provide strategic leadership of the Communications and Customer Services team and will oversee the functions of customer engagement, relationship management, problem resolution, communication, marketing and formal consultation. This encompasses a wide variety of activities including:
•Customer engagement and development
•Relationship management
•Issues resolution
•Media and Publication
•Electronic communication
•Marketing and Publicity materials
•Promotion of corporate identity

Main accountabilities
•Management of the Communications and Customer Services team, including the co-ordination and direction of work
•Management of the CPP brand and maximising CPP’s positive presence in all available media
•To develop and maintain CPP’s relationship management strategy
•Establish a customer services database for recording and reporting on issues and resolutions
•To liaise with managers to identify areas where support and/or input may be beneficial
•Collating and reporting back on feedback
•To evaluate the effectiveness of internal and external communications and engagement on a regular basis, ensuring continual improvement
•To review the methods to ensure that they are appropriate for keeping customers and colleagues up to date and engaged
•To work flexibly to the needs of the organisation and to attend occasional evening or weekend meetings and events
•To promote the CPP LLP organisation and its work
•To ensure external communication is consistent with DH and ICC policies.

Salary – £42 to 45k depending on experience
