Senior responsible officer appointed at ‘improving’ STP
- Adam Doyle adds SRO post to CCG role
- Bob Alexander will become independent chair
- Three organisations to work more closely with neighbouring STP
A sustainability and transformation partnership which has faced a turbulent few years has appointed new leadership.
Adam Doyle has been named senior responsible officer for the Sussex and East Surrey STP. He will also continue in his role as accountable officer for the area’s eight clinical commissioning groups.
The STP’s executive chair Bob Alexander – former deputy chief executive of NHS Improvement – will become independent chair. This is in line with requirements in the long-term plan that all STPs and integrated care systems should have an independent chair. Mr Alexander had been the executive chair for 18 months.
