April 26 2021 – The HCSA would like to confirm its full support of proposals for a nationally standardised uniform across the NHS in England.
Such a move would deliver crucial cost savings and utilise the buying power of the NHS while providing a cohesive national identity for healthcare workers.
Originally put forward by NHS Supply Chain: Hotel Services in 2019, the project was understandably stalled by prioritising the requirements of the COVID-19 pandemic but HCSA agrees that now is the right moment to push forward with it again.
The HCSA believes The National Healthcare Uniform Project is an important initiative at an important time.
