The winner of this award will be a strong and consistent advocate of procurement and a leader of developments and growth within the procurement function throughout their career. There is no shortlist for this awards and the winner will be announced on the night.
This might include one or a number of the following – e.g. someone who:
- Has been at the forefront of strategic change
- Has made a significant contribution to the health care supply profession
- Has significantly raised the profile of the profession, or their organisation(s)
- Has performed their role (strategic or operational) to a level of excellence and with dedication, enthusiasm and professionalism, over a number of years, directly or indirectly supporting colleagues to deliver frontline patient care
Nominations for this award are not restricted to members of the HCSA and can be made on behalf of anyone working at any level in the health care purchasing and supply function. The nomination must be proposed by a member of the HCSA.
