What are you most proud of?

My proudest moments in my work life is seeing up and coming colleagues, both within Gore and from our wider network, find their sweet-spot from a business, personal and capability perspective. We spend so much time working it should be enjoyable, fulfilling and provide a contribution (to the environment, patients or society).

What makes you angry?

I get frustrated when there isn't a team approach and egos get in the way of pragmatic decision-making.

What sports team do you support (if any)?

Not proud to say at the moment Leeds United (football), McLaren (F1), Yorkshire (cricket)

Which famous person would you most like to meet and why?

Jesus. There are so many questions..... and Leonardo Di Vinci. Did he really do so much....?

What superpower would you most like to have and why?

Invisibility. Integrity is how you behave when no one is looking. I could look....

What historical figure do you most admire and why?

Captain James Cook. Great, brave adventurer who worked hard and lived an exciting life - even if it didn't end well!

What’s your perfect weekend?

A long hike with great company, with a swim and nice meal to replenish energy (wearing Gore-Tex kit of course)!

What’s your favourite meal?

Home-made paella

Sailing
