What are you most proud of?
Family, everything I do is for them.
What makes you angry?
The state of politics and media in this country.
What sports team do you support (if any)?
I follow a lot of sports to my wives chagrin, Manchester United for football, Sale and Eccles for rugby, Lancashire for cricket, the list is endless...
Which famous person would you most like to meet and why?
Given my interest in sport I am very interested by leaders of high performance sporting organisations. Someone who fascinates me is Stuart Lancaster who was discarded by England rugby but has come back from that to lead a transformation in Ireland.
What superpower would you most like to have and why?
Teleportation, one of the most valuable things we have is our time so the ability to get where I want would save time and to able to travel anywhere in the world would be fun.
What historical figure do you most admire and why?
The people I admire most are those who are willing to sacrifice for the betterment of others, be that engineers at Chernobyl preventing even more devastation and loss of life or more recently a man named Alan Henning from my area who was killed in Syria by ISIL.
What’s your perfect weekend?
A game of rugby, watching or playing, water park in the sun with the children and nice dinner by the sea with my wife.
What’s your favourite meal?
I love to experiment when cooking and eating but if I had to choose one it would be steak and chips.
Can you describe yourself in one word?
Tall.
What do you hope to be doing 5 years from now?
Since I started my career in procurement I have always wanted to work for the UN in New York so professionally I hope to be closer to that goal in some way.
