NHS London Procurement Partnership (NHS LPP) has announced that, after an open and thorough recruitment process, it has appointed Lee Joseph as new Managing Director.

Lee - who sits on the HCSA National Council - has been working as the Interim Managing Director for the last seven months and, during that time, has worked to further build the organisation in regards to its service offering to members, as well as ensuring it is a great place for staff to work.

Prior to his role as Interim Managing Director, Lee worked in various senior roles at NHS LPP after joining the organisation in 2016. Before joining NHS LPP, he held strategic and leadership roles across the public and private sector, including Hospital Corporation of America, General Electric (GE), Unipart, JCB and Visteon.

John Goulston, Chair of the NHS LPP Board, said: “We are delighted to have appointed Lee as our new Managing Director of NHS LPP. His leadership, skills and experience all make him the perfect person for this role and I am excited to see Lee lead the organisation on the next stages of our journey to support members across London and beyond.”

Lee Joseph, Managing Director of NHS LPP, said: “I am thrilled to take over as Managing Director of NHS LPP on a permanent basis. There is much to do in order to reach the aspirations that my Executive team and I have for the organisation but I am convinced, more than ever, that we can deliver for patients, users of our services and the tax payer. Members will be at the heart of everything we do, and I look forward to working more closely with them in the coming weeks and months.”
