We embed best practice procurement processes within your organisation which deliver immediate and sustained savings and efficiencies. With a proven track record of providing the highest quality commercial and contracting services to 57 NHS clients and 700 associate members, we've delivered £350m in audited procurement savings opportunities since 2005.

Services offered:

Framework agreements and support. With over 70 framework agreements covering everything from single-use medical consumables to entire buildings, our framework agreements offer typical savings of 5 – 5 per cent, alongside a swift and easy route to market.

Strategic procurement services Our CIPS accredited purchasing professionals can work alongside you to help re-evaluate and improve your purchasing. This includes market management via the largest database of NHS spending in existence; an electronic catalogue solution which integrates seamlessly with your existing finance platforms; swift sourcing of non-catalogue items and placement of a skills onsite procurement team to manage your local tenders, quotes and contracts.

Transactional procurement services To enable your users to access the goods and services that they require, the Operational Procurement team covers: eCommerce, purchase order processing service; catalogue management; transactional processing of requisitions in line with Standing Financial Instructions (SFIs); sourcing of local requirements; end user support and advice; and order transmission to supplier

Integrated procurement partnering

A dedicated onsite service for a fully outsourced end-to-end procurement and finance service. As a leading procurement partner and NHS supplier, we offer an enterprising approach focused on delivering significant cost improvements for clients. We currently manage clinical and non-clinical categories of expenditure, being responsible for over £16 billion of annualised client spend across a variety of NHS organisations.

Capital purchasing services

We support all aspects of capital projects or equipment replacement programmes including equipment sourcing strategy support; budgetary control mechanisms; equipment consolidation and transfer; sourcing and evaluation of equipment; ordering; and receipt and distribution.

Commissioner services Working on your behalf, we coordinate effective working between commissioners where there are shared priorities and our proven project management skills and processes bring together critical disciplines with ease. We offer a choice of flexible approaches that can quickly scale to the level you require including Project Support (a tailored service offering financial flexibility and competitive rates available on either an individual or multiple project basis) and Managed Service, where we operate as an integrated part of your commissioning team, including agreement of an annual workplan to support the delivery of your commissioning priorities, enabling you to access our specialist resources at the best rates.
